Purpose: Beginner level agility ladder pattern. Coordination, balance, multi-planar general hip, foot and ankle strength.

Quick Coaching Cues

  • When you’re moving to your right, your right leg should be the first to go in the square. When moving to the left, your left leg leads.
  • Try to contact the ground from your mid-foot.
  • Keep knees slightly bent.

Common Mistakes

  • Contacting the ground flat-footed.
  • Legs too straight, keep a slight bend in the knees.
  • Taking too many steps. This pattern is only a 6-count. No extra steps.
