Agility Ladder Foot Exchange

Purpose: Athletic coordination, fast twitch recruitment, multi-planar general hip, foot and ankle strength.

Quick Coaching Cues

  • When moving to your left, your left foot will lead. Moving to your right, your right foot leads.
  • Leading means that foot will be the first to go in the square and out of the square.
  • Contact the ground from your mid-foot.
  • Keep knees slightly bent.
  • Move as quick as you can maintain control.

Common Mistakes

  • Contacting the ground flat-footed.
  • Legs too straight, keep a slight bend in the knees.
  • Not coordinating the arms with the legs.
