Chair Side Jacks
Purpose: General full body conditioning. Hips, shoulders, and calves.
Quick Coaching Cues
- Sit tall near the front of the chair with your core braced.
- Raise your arms overhead out to your sides and hop the legs apart and back together.
- Try to contact the ground from the mid-foot/balls of the feet.
- Keep your chest up.
Common Mistakes
- Slouching or leaning back instead of staying tall.
- Moving too fast and losing coordination.
- Letting the knees cave in or feet drag instead of opening out with control.
