Purpose: Core strength and stability
Quick Coaching Cues
- Keep your shoulders slightly off the floor and brace your abs.
- Reach side to side by bending through your torso, not by swinging your arms.
- Keep the movement short and controlled as you tap toward each heel.
Common Mistakes
- Dropping the shoulders all the way down between reps.
- Reaching only with the hands instead of using the obliques. Move the feet a bit further away to make you reach.
- Moving too fast and losing control side to side.
