Purpose: Core strength and stability
Quick Coaching Cues
- Stand tall and brace your core before each rep.
- Lift the knee/leg up to the side as you crunch the same-side elbow down.
- Balance on the stance leg and move with control.
Common Mistakes
- Leaning or collapsing through the standing side.
- Swinging the leg up instead of using the core.
- Rushing the movement and losing balance.
